Andrew Alperstein Represents Disbarred Attorney – Prevents Felony Conviction and Prison Sentence

Andrew I. Alperstein represented attorney Michael Hodes of Hodes, Pessin & Katz P.A. in his case regarding misappropriating money from trust funds that were set up for his sister and a deceased client.

On September 16, 2015, Michael Hodes pleaded guilty to two counts of fraudulent misappropriation by fiduciary, which are misdemeanors, and, with the help of Andrew Alperstein, avoided facing more serious charges, including theft.

Andrew Alperstein noted, “Hodes ‘is happy he can move on,’ and wants to give back to the community.”
