Andrew Alperstein Appears in Trial as Defense Attorney for Ravens Safety Director

On Monday, August 17, 2015, the trial for Darren Sanders, Ravens Director of Security, began in the Baltimore Circuit Court in which he is charged with sexual assault by an M&T Bank Stadium employee. Andrew I. Alperstein is the defense attorney for Mr. Sanders, and his strategy includes triggering doubt within the case that should prove Mr. Sanders innocence.

“She’s aggrieved,” said Mr. Alperstein. “She’s offended. The only thing he’s guilty of is being nice to her. He didn’t touch her. He didn’t do a thing.”

Mr. Alperstein began his cross-examination of the accuser on Monday, which was cut short due to time constraints, and continued on Tuesday. The trial is expected to go on for a total of four day.
