I am very proud to announce that we have added a new member to the Alperstein and Diener team. As of June 2nd Alexander “Sandy” Steeves is a full-time attorney working on criminal and domestic matters. I have known Sandy since his days as a clerk for Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Mickey Norman. I have always been impressed with his demeanor and competence. I remember numerous instances squaring off against him when he was in the District Court Division for the State’s Attorneys’ Office for Baltimore County. Sandy consistently showed me that he had the preparation, knowledge and professionalism to be an asset to any organization for which he worked. After putting in his time in the District and Circuit Courts Sandy left the State’s Attorneys’ office and went to work with Amos and Muffolletto LLC, a respected firm in Howard County.
Meanwhile, our firm has continually grown and we have needed to increase our staffing as a result. When we decided that we had room for another attorney we had no shortage of people interested in the job, but, as we always do, we chose carefully to fill the needs of the firm and our clients. Specifically, we wanted someone to handle domestic matters such as divorce and child custody, but who would also be skilled in representing criminal matters. As a group we arrived at a consensus that if Sandy Steeves wanted the job, we wanted him to take it. After some discussions, and giving Sandy some time to tie up any loose ends with his former firm, he has finally arrived. Please check out his biography here and feel free to introduce yourself if you are in the neighborhood.
