Sobeloff Society's Award Dinner

Final preparations are underway for the Simon E. Sobeloff Society’s award dinner on October 24th, 2013.

The dinner will be held at the Ten Oaks Ballroom from 6:00 to 9:00. The Simon E. Sobeloff Award will be presented to former Maryland Governor Marvin Mandel for his outstanding contributions to the legal and Jewish communities. As current president of the Baltimore City chapter of the Sobeloff Society Arthur Alperstein has been working tirelessly to ensure this event is well-attended and is a success.

Governor Mandel served from his appointment by the Maryland General Assembly in 1969 to replace Governor Agnew, through two terms of elected office, leaving office in 1977. For more information, visit the Sobeloff Jewish Law Society’s website.
