Officer Porter States He Did Nothing Wrong in the Case of Freddie Gray’s Death
Warren S. Alperstein was featured in a recent NPR audio interview regarding probable interpretations of Officer William Porter’s testimony after he took the stand in his own defense. Officer Porter is being charged with manslaughter in the death of Freddie Gray while he was in police custody.
Mr. Alperstein notes, “Officer Porter’s testimony came across very well for the defense…Competent, honest, an officer who is young but yet demonstrates, you know, to the jury that he really cares about the folks in his community.”
